Ethics

This page exists to explain how NVP is held ethically, responsibly, and with respect for individual autonomy.

NVP works with perception, identity, and the nervous system. Because of this, clarity around intent, boundaries, and care is essential. The purpose of this page is not legal protection, but orientation — so individuals can understand what this work is, how it is approached, and what it does and does not do.

Our Ethical Position

NVP is designed to support recognition, coherence, and nervous-system safety. It is not designed to persuade, override, or direct individuals toward specific outcomes.

All NVP experiences are built on the following principles:

  • Autonomy is always preserved

  • Participation is voluntary and informed

  • Language is invitational, not coercive

  • Safety and regulation come before depth

  • Meaning is not imposed from the outside

The work is structured to reduce internal resistance, not to create dependency, belief, or compliance.

Consent and Agency

Engaging with NVP is a choice.

Participants are never asked to surrender control, suspend judgement, or accept suggestions as truth. Experiences are designed so that the individual remains oriented, aware, and free to disengage at any time.

NVP does not:

  • Override free will

  • Induce trance or hypnosis

  • Use subliminal or hidden messaging

  • Attempt to influence decisions without awareness

The role of NVP is to present structured visual and sensory input. How that input is interpreted, integrated, or acted upon remains entirely with the individual.

What NVP Is — and Is Not

NVP is an experiential identity and perception methodology. It is not a clinical or therapeutic intervention.

NVP is not:

  • Psychotherapy or counselling

  • A diagnostic or treatment tool

  • Trauma processing or emotional catharsis

  • A replacement for medical or mental health care

  • A guarantee of outcomes or results

Individuals experiencing acute psychological distress, crisis, or instability should seek appropriate professional support before engaging with NVP experiences.

Use of Visual Media and Synthetic Inputs

NVP uses structured visual media as its primary modality. These visuals are designed to be explicit, not subliminal.

We do not use:

  • Hidden frames or messaging

  • Rapid flashing or sensory overload

  • Outcome-specific scripting

  • Manipulative editing techniques

All visual and audio elements are intentionally designed to support recognition and familiarity, not persuasion or suggestion.

Coaching Ethics and Boundaries

Where coaching is offered in conjunction with an NVP experience, its role is supportive and stabilising.

NVP-affiliated coaches:

  • Do not interpret imagery on behalf of the client

  • Do not assign meaning or outcomes

  • Do not direct life decisions

  • Do not provide therapy or clinical treatment

Coaching exists to support integration, reflection, and embodiment over time — not to lead or manage personal change.
